This brief involved naming, branding and designing packaging for an organic dairy manufacturer. The brief stressed the need for packaging that suited the products organic style in terms of being environmentally aware while standing out in the market place. In response to this I designed, branded and digitally rendered this packaging design proposing the use of a biodegradable (PLA) plastic film with a tear top.
For the branding itself, I opted for a minimalist approach, in order to stand out in a market saturated with the opposite. On top of this, to stay relevant and, over all, approachable, I created a friendly personality for the brand, with no-nonsense, yet quirky copy. Topped off with a logo mark with a small tribute to the 60's style milkman.
While this is an old college project I still believe the packaging solution and concept is relevant in our current market given our over use of non-degradable plastics in packaging.
